Description
So, my father Colonel Bill loved restoring cars. He used to take them apart in the fall, hang the tires on the walls of the garage and put the car up on blocks. Then in the spring, he'd start putting them back together. He'd drive them 50 or 60 miles in the summer and in the fall do the whole thing over again. As a result, this is a possible Mustang Fastback "survivor."
Other Details
My brother got the 1956 Jaguar roadster and I got the 1965 Mustang Fastback. It's time for it to have a new home so I can park my vintage Jag in the garage.
Here's the scoop:
1965 Mustang Fastback ~ We've owned it from at least the early 70's. Clear title.
Colour ~ Red (is there any other colour?)
Model ~ 289 2+2 ~ body straight and level
Upholstery ~ White Leather (Pristine! In perfect condition. How great is that?)
Always garaged
New tires
Lovely throaty engine ~ looks like original engine
Needs a new battery
25708 miles (I believe these are actual miles. My father rarely drove it.)
It's not in perfect condition (B+) but it's damn nice.
