| Without question, one of the most sought after cars in today’s muscle car market is the 1970 Chevelle SS Convertible. Only 3,375 Chevelle SS convertibles were built, which makes owning one some 37 years later a real rarity.
This particular 1970 Chevelle SS convertible is the product of a nut and bolt, frame-off restoration.
The cars options include A/C, PS, PDB, Strato Bucket seats, console-shifted automatic 3 speed transmission and a functional cowl induction hood.
The dark green metallic paint is simply gorgeous. The chrome moldings and bumpers are all new and free from any imperfections.
The Undercarriage has been correctly finished to look just as it did when it was sitting in the showroom in 1970.
The interior is also remarkable. The ivory vinyl seat covers have no blemishes, rips or tears. The carpet that surrounds the floorboards still smells new. The instrument panels gauges and knobs have either been replaced or refurbished to resemble original.
The convertible top is clean and free from any dirt. The car has been garaged the since the restoration and has never even been washed with water period.
Under the hood is a strong 396/375hp powerplant. The engine has been completely rebuilt and is guaranteed to supply plenty of neck popping torque with just one mash of the accelerator.
