| 1964 ½ Mustang Convertible 289 4 barrel D code 4 speed This is a restored Concours 64 ½ convertible that has power steering, Air condition, power brakes, 4 speed, Rally Pac, console, power top, 289 D code 4 barrel engine. Body: the body is just beautiful, detailed correctly for show, every nut, bolt, and clip detailed, floor pans are perfect, the fit and finish is perfect. The body lines are straight paint is better than new, it has all of the correct 64 ½ head light buckets and correct hood. This was restored to MCA show rules. Engine: the engine was rebuilt and runs perfect, it has the correct 64 ½ 5 bolt block, the original carburetor was rebuilt and detailed for show. Correct hoses, belts, plug wires, air cleaner, battery cables, ECT. Transmission: the 4 speed transmission was rebuilt also and shifts great! It is the original 4 speed Borg Warner T-10 and it has the correct shifter and linkage to include the backup light switch, backup lights were an option in 64 ½ . Interior: the interior was restored with the correct color red seat covers, carpet, dash pad, door panels, quarter trim, and convertible top. Kick panels, scuff plates, console, 6 grand Rally Pac, door handles and window handles. The radio is an am/fm cassette that fits the dash perfect. If you look at the pictures you can see that this is a fully restored show car. Suspension: the suspension is new!! Every thing was restored back to show and it even has the correct tie rods and power steering. Upper and lower control arms, spring seats, shocks, coil springs, strut rods bushings, just new!! The rear springs rebuilt to keep the correct codes on them. The brakes were rebuilt and new drums were installed along with new wheel cylinders and all flex brake lines were replaced. Tires are 185/75/R14 Goodyear radials with the correct 14 inch spinner hub caps. Rear end is the correct 3.00:1 ratio and was rebuilt to include new bearings and seals. New axle bearings and seals were also installed. Exhaust: the muffler and resonator and pipes were hot coated to stay like new. Data: Body 76A Color M Trim 85 Date 15E DSO 22 Axle 1 Trans 5 |
